Accessibility
Last updated 1 Oct 2026
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA. These are the things it does on purpose.
What works
- Every page has one main heading and a clear order, and works with a keyboard alone.
- A skip link jumps past the navigation. Focus is always visible, and the mobile menu traps focus and closes with the Escape key.
- Text meets the AA contrast ratio against its background.
- Photos have descriptive text. Purely decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages next to the field that needs attention.
Motion
The site has playful effects: a moving pointer tag, stickers that react to the mouse and headings that type themselves. All of them switch off when your device is set to reduce motion, and they only run with a mouse or trackpad. Nothing important depends on them.
Known limits
- The playground board is a visual toy. You can move it with the arrow keys, and every note and photo description is still readable on the page.
- Photos on this demo are placeholders, so their descriptions describe the image that will replace them.
